About Sunset & Durango
BBQ Mexicana is where Mexican spice meets traditional American barbecue in a casual, quick-service setting from James Beard and Julia Child award winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken
Located minutes from IKEA, Durango Casino & Resort, and the UnCommons, BBQ Mexicana is perfect for locals, hotel guests and office workers looking for a meal using the same high quality, fresh, and organic ingredients as our sister restaurant Border Grill.
This unique location is our first standalone BBQ Mexicana and drive thru. At Sunset & Durango, we also serve tacos with a barbecue twist and offer a kids menu in addition to our famous brisket burrito, vibrant salads and bowls.
With indoor seating for 40 people, BBQ Mexicana is an ideal gathering place for families and casual group dining in Southwest Las Vegas.
Off-site catering and the BBQ Mexicana food truck are available for private events, festivals, office parties, and film shoots in nearby areas like Summerlin, Rhodes Ranch, Spring Valley, Henderson or beyond.
Dine in, take out, drive thru or order online.

Named Best Place to Have Your Burrito and Eat BBQ, Too
"Did you know the awesome OG chefs of the classic Border Grill restaurants own a Mexican food-barbecue mashup? You can find BBQ Mexicana at Allegiant Stadium, Mandalay Bay, T-Mobile Arena, and the Las Vegas Ballpark — and now at Sunset and Durango. The smoked-brisket burrito is elite, a marvelous mix of slow-smoked meat, crispy potatoes, cilantro coleslaw, cheese, red rice, and signature barbecue sauce. We’re also addicted to the house-made chile de arbol salsa; spread it on everything for a meal that’s todo bien." - Nevada Public Radio
